The Creating A Climate For Change

Kingdom Living Temple Church in Florence, South Carolina is hosting their annual climate and environmental justice conference, entitled "Creating A Climate For Change." This conference will focus on educating local communities on how climate change affects everyone, their environment and their health. We will especially focus on low income and people of color communities who are imacted the most by greenhouse gases, climate change and weather related disaters.
We are inviting environmental justice organizations, regional and national networks and conservation groups to join us. We will share best practices, models, processes and successful community organizing campaigns and strategies. We are working on issues to: deal with climate change, create a world fueled by clean renewable enery, energy efficiency, equity, environmental justice, just transitions and new economic opportunities and a healthier world.
The funds raised will be used for the venue, food, printing services, and the like. We will be raising funds via crowdfunding until May 30th.
