emergency shelter

Just when things started to look up, everything seemed to come falling down. As most of you know, im a young single mom of 2 little boys, logan who is 2 and dustin who is 6 months. Logan is a very special little boy who is a living miracle. He was diagnosed with Baraister winter syndrome, a genetic disorder which caused parts of his brain not to develope, which o course followed with vision, hearing and muscular problems. Logan was guaranteed not to live longer than a few minutes, that has clearly been proven wrong. We have had a tough road. I recently had to quit one of my jobs because after fighting for more services, we got them. Logan now has 5 days of physical therepy per week, some in home some out of home. This past Wednesday at logans 2 year physical, his lead level came back high. We had the board of health come to my parents house, who then determined logans bedroom and one other room have lead in it, and deemed it unsafe for my children to be living here. I am told I need to find a new place to live asap. I can afford rent month to month, but coming up with first last security on such short notice is impossible for me. I hate to ask people for help like this, but that is what this site is for, right? Emergancy situations when people fall into hard times and need help? My boys mean the world to me, and if anything ever happened to them I would be absolutley lost. With logans disabilities, living in a shelter isn't an option for us. He needs a place to call home, because of his vision issues he needs stability in one place. Any help would be greatly appreciate!
