are my fiance Joe Lee's sister and my future sister in law and her fiance.
True Love from the start. Hard workers. Tyler works for Coke and Karrie for a great company Trident Care. Early 20's, Just beginning their wonderful life together, and building a beautiful home for themselves, So many plans, so in love.
Than you wake up one morning, and you find out your whole life has just changed forever.
AML (Acute myeloid leukemia) happened!
Tyler is in the cancer unit at UNC Chapel Hill for at least the next 3 weeks, until they can get him healthy enough for the next step. Tyler has NO health insurance (Just shy of being eligible for insurance through Coke).
Karrie, who works full time and college courses at night, obviously will not being doing much of either, for at least the time Tyler is in the cancer unit. She won't leave his side! Plus it's a 2 hour drive or so each way from home.
They're going to need a little help in the next few months, a lot to figure out. In the meantime bills pile up, adding more stress. If we can help alleviate any added stress, shouldn't we? YES
If anyone can help this amazing couple who are super dear and close to our hearts, in ANY way, prayers are also needed, it would deeply be appreciated and definitely paid forward in the future. Every little bit helps and is going for an amazing couple ❤
I also want to say to Tyler's family, his mother Julie Jackson, and Steve. Tyler's brother Austin and sister Annie Godfrey, that we are ALL here for you and your family. Always in our thoughts.

is a cancer of the myeloid line of blood cells, characterized by the rapid growth of abnormal white blood cells that accumulate in the bone marrow and interfere with the production of normal blood cells
