FenellasChow Chow Rescue Norwich
Donation protected
FenellasChow Chow Rescue is a non profit organisation. We rescue sick, abandoned, neglected and terminally ill chow chows from not only England, UK but also from abroad if sent to us to be nursed.
Costs to feed, nurse and care for these chows are increasing dramatically.
We have had 35 chow chows brought to us over the years and sadly donations of food, blankets, towels, other bedding, grooming products and equipment and smart collars/cool coats are no longer being given in the quantity the chows need.
We spend £143.80 or more a week to provide for the chow chows , so monthly , this can add up to a large sum. This is without operations needed .
The weekly money spent on the chow chows is for their dry food/ fish tins and fresh meat. The electric for their washing of bedding, towels and vet matting and autumn/winter tumble drying. Also, for heating water for their showers and blastdrying. Grooming products, hygiene costs , medication pain relief , worm and flea preparations are also included in this figure.
We are trying to keep this rescue home going and not have to close it as there are many chow chows who need our care/nursing before being rehomed to a furever loving family to suit the chows specific needs. If howeer they are terminally ill then they will reside at the rescue home for the remaining days of their life.
