Clutch is a campaign started in Western Kentucky that seeks to provide free feminine products to underprivileged middle school and high school girls so they can focus on academic achievement.
While not an official non-profit yet, the Clutch team has launched "Clutch Hutches" that disburse the feminine products in eight schools throughout Western Kentucky, as well as The Gentry House for housing the homeless.
Right now, Clutch is running off of donations and our founder, Kristen's, college student budget. With your donation, Clutch will be able to file our 501 (c)(3) and apply for grants to be able to better serve our existing need of over 6,000 women, and expand farther into the midwestern states.
Until now, this campaign has been able to sustain itself off of the generosity and volunteership of the Western Kentucky community. But, the need for free feminine products is unmet and quickly growing. With your help, we can make sure that girls focus on education, and that the homeless can focus on rebuilding their lives.
What your donation does:
$5: Buys a box of tampons for a homeless family for the Gentry House
$10: Buys a box of pads for underprivileged middle schoolers
$20: Supplies the needs in a Clutch Hutch (weeks supplies of pads/tampons) for for a week allowing girls to stay in class longer
$50: Supplies the feminine hygiene product needs for a school system for a month
$100: Fills every Clutch Hutch in our eight participating schools, and every donation box at the Gentry House

Clutch Hutches filled from our first Packing Party, which are placed directly in the bathrooms of schools and homeless shelters for a quicker and more discrete disbursement.
