Female Karter to Race World Finals

Hi everyone,
My name is Beck Connell. I am 23 years old and am from Queanbeyan NSW. I have been racing Go Karts professionally since I was 10 years old, and have travelled throughout Australia competing in State and National Championships.
In 2016 I had a very successful year where I won the NSW State Karting Championships and also achieved an overall top 10 finish in the Australian Kart Championships. I was the only female to win a State Championship in Australia for 2016 and I was the highest ranked female in my category in the Australian Kart Championships. I was also selected as the Women of Australian Motorsport (WAMS) Junior Development Scholarship recipient for 2016/2017.
Along with this I gained some other great results which include:
- 3 pole positions at all three rounds of the NSW State Championships.
- 2x round wins at the NSW State Championships
- 3rd at round two of the NSW State Championships
- 4th at round 1 of the Australian Kart Championships
- 3rd at the invitation only Gold Coast 600 Race of Stars
- Top 5 qualifying at round 1 of the Australian Kart Championships
- Top 5 qualifying at the Gold Coast 600 Race of Stars
This year I have been given a fantastic opportunity to compete at the 2017 IAME X30 World Karting Finals in Le Mans, France in October. To do this, I have to raise approximately $10,000 - $12,000 which will cover all costs including travel, accommodation, kart and engine, race entry fee, practice and race tyres, and other kart maintenance fees.
It has been an absolute dream of mine to compete internationally at a major event and this dream is ever so close to becoming a reality!
No matter how big or small your donations are, every cent brings me closer to achieving this big goal of mine and to those who donate, I cannot thank each and every one of you enough for helping me reach my dream.
For any individuals or businesses that donate $1,000 or more, I will PROMOTE yourself or your business for the rest of my 2017 race season. This includes at every remaining round of the Australian Kart Championships AND at the IAME X30 World Finals in France.
For any business that would like to donate $10,000 or more I will:
- Have your business logo embroidered onto my race suit.
- Hand out any brochures of your choice to help promote your business at race meetings throughout Australia.
- Large stickers of your business logo on my Go-Kart at all remaining rounds of the Australian Kart Championships AND at the IAME X30 World Finals.
- Special thanks to your business and mentions on social media and in media releases.
