Feedin' the Kids & Kickin' Cancer

I am writing this on behalf of my friend Nikki. She doesn’t know how to ask for help, but she is the most deserving person of it. Nikki once told me “The only thing I’ve always known that I wanted was to be a mom,” So she has been blessed with two adorable little girls, Delaney and Eliana. I have watched her give her all to make sure her daughters are happy, healthy and well loved. She works hard as a bartender to care for them.

Nikki has recently been diagnosed with cervical cancer.  She has gone through surgery with the cheery disposition of a little pink soldier.  Days later she was up and about caring for her girls, because she doesn’t know how not to.

As much as she may want to try to care for everyone around her, on Monday November 28th she will begin chemotherapy and radiation.  Nikki has the strength to beat cancer but the battle will take everything she has. Meanwhile, Nikki and her daughters will need a roof over their heads, clothes on their backs, and food in their stomachs.

Please give whatever you can to help this single mother conquer cancer.
