Las Palmas Robotics: Go to Worlds

We are the Las Palmas Piperbot Robotics Team of 2016. We are a bilingual team of 4th & 5th graders, who have been competing together for the entire school year. We recently qualified to go to the VEX Robotics World Championship in Lousiville, Kentucky, April 20-23.
We now have the challenge of raising funds so that we can make an opportunity of a life time a dream come true! We will be competing with teams from all over the World (Egypt, Singapore, China, New Zealand). The world is coming to Kentucky and we couldn't be more excited to expand our international experience while working along side of other robotic and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) inspired students.
The BIG hurdle at this point is raising funds for our team to actually make it to the competition. It is $850 to just register our Robot. We need to purchase flights, housing, rental vehicles, food and any unexpected expenses. We estimate that it will be about $600-$700 per person to travel to Lousiville and participate in the VEX World Robotics Championship. Our goal is to raise $10,000 in 2 weeks. WE ARE ALSO LOOKING FOR COMPANIES THAT COULD SPONSOR US AS WELL FOR THIS EVENT, any help would be incredible. We are looking at possible doing a t-shirt with our sponsors on the back.
We have worked extremely hard building, researching, problem solving and programming with dedication and determination. After sacrificing multiple lunch times, recess and after school hours to make it this far, we are determined to go to the Championships.
Please help us get to VEX Robotics World Championships so that we can compete with the top students around the WORLD! Any donations help and we are truly grateful for your support!
