As some of you may know, Rich was diagnosed with colorectal cancer in 2017 and was 'released' in Feb 2018. He was able to once again live his life to the fullest, until earlier this year when he found out that his original cancer has metastasized and moved to his brain and lungs.
What this means is that Richard has an extremely tough battle ahead of him. If you know him at all, you know he's one the toughest, most resilient (and stubborn) people on the planet.
We are starting this GoFundMe because he's currently undergoing a number of different treatments in order to try and see this thing off once and for all. Some of these well-researched alternative therapies come with a big price tag. For context, one current treatment costs roughly $25,000 per round. He will likely need to undergo 3 rounds.
Fortunately Rich has a very supportive family... but this has resulted in his dad having to draw from his retirement fund and Rich selling a property he owned in order to combat the costs.
Along with being an incredible emotional stress for friends and family, cancer is an overwhelming financial burden. Friends and well-wishers always ask, "How can I help?!" Well, any money that you are able to contribute would be HUGE in helping Rich's fight.
