Help Foster Children in Honor of Annabelle

Annabelle loved children and spent much of her time working in the children’s programs with Waters Church or LifeHouse church. She also had two nieces and a nephew who she loved dearly, and was always seen holding Hayden’s little siblings or the Decker children.

Annabelle and her sister went through the foster care system in New Haven, Connecticut when they were small children. They have always wanted to pay it forward and bless other children.

The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations to be collected in her honor for the Our Kids Fund in the Department of Children and Families in New Haven, CT.

This fund is set up specifically for social workers to provide additional assistance, or even treats such as birthday gifts, to families they are working with, at their discretion. Each dollar spent is associated with a specific child for a specific cause to ensure the funds are used to help kids directly.

We have contacted the Department of Children and Families of New Haven directly and are working with a representative to deliver the funds and receive an acknowledgment in Annabelle's name.
