Vicky Dreier’s Hip Surgery

My wife and I, throughout our 40 years of marriage, raised our two children and six others that needed the basics through their school years. Although we really never had much extra than what we needed, we always tried our best to help others in need. Because of this, we have no savings and now find ourselves in need of help. Vicky fell July first of this year and broke her hip. The emergency surgery that was performed here on Island was unsuccessful and two and a half months later, the bone still has not healed, and she is still in a massive amount of pain. She also, to this day, can’t put weight on that leg. A total hip and socket replacement surgery has been scheduled for first week of October on the Island of Oahu. The Orthopedic surgeon whom will perform the surgery says she will be back to 92% to 98% if original, pain free, mobility shortly after the procedure. We have the best Orthopedic surgeon in Hawaii, however, he does not accept our insurance, so he must be paid in advance for his services. Because of his long term relationship with our primary Doctor, he has graciously reduced our cost by 20%, leaving his fee @ $8300.00. The additional $1700.00 we are asking for will help cover the InterIsland flights, rental car, and lodging for the four days Vicky will be hospitalized.
