My beautiful mother, Loretta Dunn, "MamaRetta" is one of the most amazing women to walk the earth. She is so kind, loving, wise, and strong. She recently turned 79 years young and has been battling Stage 3 Breast Cancer since she was diagnosed in the beginning of this year.

I am an only child and care for my mom 24/7, who lives with me here in Kaua'i, Hawai'i.
If you have it in your heart, can you please help?
We go to the hospital for my mom to get cancer treatments 4 times a week, a 3 hour round trip journey (we litterally live at the end of the road at the end of the world!)
Her tumor was 6 inches by 5 inches! We joke around (a lot) and call it her alien that is going to jump out of her chest and start singing "Hello my baby!" just like in the movie Spaceballs. Our humor is what keeps us sane and keeps us going. But this is all so much for 2 women to take alone. All of these treatments, co-pays, gas, food, etc. is so much to handle when I am not able to work so I can care for my mom. (I have no one else to take her for treatments and care for her when she is took weak to stand on her own). It really is heartbreaking but we are STRONG!
My mom, Loretta... MamaRetta, will be receiving a radical double masectomy in November, with no reconstruction. We live a very healthy life, and eat only organic, non-GMO foods. We practice yoga and meditation. We love life to the fullest!
And yet... we are so incredibly broke its ridiculous.
If you have it in your heart and wallet to help ease the major financial burden we are under (our bills will escalate to over $500,000 after surgery), we truly appreciate it! Every dollar really counts.
