Emergency Medevac- Bring Jerry Home

Jerry Lipkins III, a native son of the Pro Football Hall of Fame city of Canton, Ohio and a graduate of the Ohio State University has been teaching in South Korea for the last four years. He believed he had finally found his niche. He loves the people and enjoys traveling to nearby locations such as Thailand. Recently, the gregarious educator fell critically ill in Jeonju, South Korea and now requires a medical evacuation back to the United States to our acclaimed Cleveland Clinic. Commercial airlines are unsuitable as he will require in flight monitoring and possible procedures  in case of a medical emergency.

Jerry may ultimately require a lung transplant and would not be able to recieve such in Jeonju, South Korea simply because there would not be a genetic match for him.

Jerry is the only  child to his mother and father and also the grandson of a Korean and Vietnam War veteran, Jerry Lipkins, also a native of Canton, Ohio. He is also the nephew of Negro Oldtimers Basketball Hall of Famer, Coach Lester Mitchell Jones.

Several family members have rushed to his side in South Korea after recieving notification. They were informed that the cost to Medevac him would be over $200,000. The family needs your help to bring our native son home. Without your help he may not survive. Per his medical evacuation team, the time to MEDEVAC him is now! No donation is too small. All Huntington Bank locations are also accepting donations. Checks should be made out to the Jerry Lipkins Emergency Fund. Together we will make this happen and bring Jerry home.
