This past summer I had an amazing opportunity to travel to Senegal to study dance and culture with Pape Moussa and Bouly Sonko for about 4.5 months. I saw and experienced so many things and now I want to show all of you in a groundbreaking drum and dance production, choreographed and directed by myself (with a lot of help from friends and family).
Everything I've worked for has led up to this moment and I am so excited to share with you! We need $10,000 by November 1, 2017 to rent our venue, pay our hard working artists, make our costumes and book rehearsal space.
My goal is not just to show what I have learned but also to showcase that this new generation of dancers and musicians have been paying attention and we are full of surprises!
