Through pain, sickness, and adversity, these smiles have continued to be steadfast and effervescent in their faithfulness. As friends and family of the Fatongia Family, we stand strong with you in your fight against cancer. For those of you who are blessed to know Sarah, you know that her strength is unmatched. She is a loving wife, a devoted mother, a nurturing sister, a generous cousin, and a loyal friend, that has given so much of her life contributing to others, and pouring over the life of her children.
In May of 2018, Sarah was diagnosed with breast cancer. At the young age of 35, she faced one of the biggest hurdles of her life. Through the journey of chemotherapy and infinite treatment sessions, Sarah never faltered in her faith. She knew that Heavenly Father had a bigger plan for her life as a mother and wife. She was determined to push through no matter what, for the sake of her family. Earlier this month, an aching body and lower back pains, brought her back to the hospital. Tests later determined that cancer had returned, and now spread to her bones. Although she sits with a diagnosis that can be overwhelming, Sarah's mind has never been stronger. She is determined not to let a diagnosis dictate the outcome of her life.
