Father of 4, Veteran & Burn Victim

On August 14, 2018, my older brother Tyronne L. Butler of Chestertown, MD sustained serious 2nd and 3rd degree burns from a cooking accident. He was medevaced by Maryland State Police to Johns Hopkins Bayview Hospital. The hospital is about 80-90 miles from his home and where all of our family currently live, except for me (I live a short distance to the hospital). Tyronne has spent the last several days and is currently in the Burn Intensive Care Unit with horrible burns to his entire face, hands, arms, legs and feet. Seeing someone that you love in so much pain and knowing there is nothing that you can do to take away that pain, is truly heartbreaking.

Just two days prior we were all celebrating our fathers 70th birthday and my brother was his usual, loveable and funny self with smiles and jokes having a good time with family. 

Tyronne has four children with one still at home and about to enter his last year of high school. He is a wonderful father and his children and his grandchildren are his everything. He is also an Army Veteran and he currently works for Tidewater Direct, LLC as a Supervisor for their Bindery Department. He works very hard and puts in long hours to provide for his family.  My brother is the kind of guy who wouldn't ask for help however, will help anyone . People who know him love him because he is such a wonderful human being. With the amount of time to recover being unknown, Tyronne will need all the love, help and support that we can give him to fully get back on his feet from this unfortunate accident.
