Father & Husband has lung cancer

My husband Alan was recently diagnosed with a form of lung cancer called Adenocarcinoma. As you can imagine we are living in a fog of emotions and shock. He has a PET scan this week to determine if the cancer is isolated or if it's invaded other areas as well. If it's just in his lungs we should be able to have surgery soon to begin to rid his body of this awful disease. In the mean time, like most of the country, as hard as my husband works, we mostly live pay check to pay check. So, in an attempt to take some of the burden off of my husbands shoulders, I am reaching out to you for help.
