Fasting for Unité du Monde

Millions of people around the world have been observing Ramadan over the past few weeks, where they fast from dawn until sunset and do a lot of charitable deeds.

To celebrate the end of Ramadan, a team of us in Salesforce will join in for a day of fasting on Thursday, June 14.

Ramadan also provides a perspective on what it's like to not have access to food and water, so we'll use this as an opportunity to raise money for Unité du Monde , a French NGO that's building wells in various parts of Africa. The funds will go towards providing clear and drinkable water to communities who are lacking this vital necessity.
