Imagine a world where, regardless of your age, shape, size or ability, being stylish and caring about one's appearance is an accessible, joyous experience.

Fashion is for Every Body works to eliminate the stigma surrounding people with non-sample size bodies by serving as a platform for body-positivity, inclusion, and self-esteem while demonstrating their strong ties to fashion and design. We accomplish our mission by facilitating partnerships between designers, boutique owners, photographers, and non-traditional models through adaptive and/or pattern endowments, photo shoots, and an annual runway show.

Because our goal is to mainstream as diverse a group as possible we strive to make our productions as high-calibre as any other high-fashion event. Last year's fashion show featured 20 models of all ages, sizes and abilities and 8 Nashville designers - including 5 fashion week veterans - played to a packed house and was featured in The Mighty, Mobile Women, and several local media outlets. This year's show, which will be called Boundless, will take place on September 9th at Studio 615, promises to be bigger and better than it's predecessor..

Your donations will go directly towards funding these projects that are already changing the way the world sees non-sample-sized models and - more importantly - how they see themselves. As a perk for your $30 minimum contribution you'll receive a Ladies T-Shirt with Fashion is for Every Body's logo created by Nashville fashion illustrator Carrie Mills.

None of our staff or volunteers receive any paid compensation for their efforts, but we still have to pay for costs associated with our projects and endowments. These include venues, equipment such as lighting, sound, seating and tables, media materials and food and drink. The projected cost of this year's show is $12,000.
Designers are eager to create garments for our plus sized and disabled models - and our model roster has grown from 15 to 35 in just one year. Our goal is to deliver high-quality photo shoots and runway shows that elevate and do justice to both models and designers.
