It is with great sorrow to announce the untimely passing of Alice Wambui Gitia. Daughter of Patrick and Cathreen Gitia of Mebane North Carolina, sister to Kevin Wanjohi Gitia.
Alice answered God's call on Thursday November 8, 2018 in Durham North Carolina at the tender age of 31. We would like to ask that you please keep Alice's mom, brother and the entire family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
Her mom's only wish is that she takes her baby girl back home to Kenya to be laid to rest close to her family!
Let's pull together as a community and help Aunty Cathreen give her only baby girl and lastborn a proper farewell to her resting place.
Funeral and memorial plans are still being put in place, and We'll be sure to keep you all updated as things move along. Prayers are being held in Mebane daily, Please feel free to come by mom's house and offer a word of encouragement or a hug!
