Help a family get household water

Ive never used GoFundMe before and I really dont want to now. Im not the type to ask people for anything. But my family needs help that we just cant solve on our own.
My wife and I are both physically disabled. We live in an old farm house that has well water. Last week, 6 days ago, our well pump burned out and we have been without running water since then. Since then the fire dept has brought down 2 rainwater barrels for us to flush our toilet and wash dishes with. But this is a temp solution at best. We still need to get drinking water and water to take showers. Being on a small fixed income per month a lot of time leaves us with no food for the last week of the month even .
I hear you thinking "Why not get a small loan" . I am in bankruptsy and cannot secure a loan of any type. We are in a major catch 22 here. You just cant understand how being without water is until you have none. Also if Im correct the codes call for running water in a home or its considered unlivable. We have no where to go and no way to do that if we wanted.

Here are our two options after working on this problem for nearly a week.
1. Fix the well pump. Ive spoken to the only two professonals in this area. One came out and looked at it and said it would cost $1500 to even start on it and go up from there. Up to what he didn't say because he then said he wasn't comfortable working on such a complicated repair. Remember our place is about 70+ years old. The well pump is under our front porch as you can see in the pics. The well is in the yard.
Another guy quoted $100 for the first hour plus all parts and everything even IF he worked on it. These pumps costs at least $700.
2. The other option is city water hookup. I like this option as it removes the pump and well from the equation and all future problems that holds. The city requires a $925 payment UP FRONT in full before they will install their water meter. Then I need a plumbing permit from the county. And that covers their side. I then have to hire a plumber to run a connection from the meter out near the street to my home. The plumber I found on the cheap side said its $75 an hour plus materials and permits and all that jazz.
So it appears Im looking at thousands of dollars to simply get water back into my home for me and my wife. With us both disabled we cannot do anything for ourselves to fix this. We have no savings. We live day to day month to month.
We cant continue to live without running water for drinking, bathing, flushing the toilet, washing dishes. Its an impossibility.
And thats why Im here typing this. I dont want to be here. Im sure most people here dont want to be here. But I have to be if we want to live. We just dont have any way to get help otherwise. Most all our family are gone on both sides and those that are left help as much as they can bless them but there is only so much someone with their own family to care for can do to help a disabled family.
The funding goal is $5000. That should cover either fix...the repair or the city water hookup plus parts and hidden expenses. If any is left over it would go to other broken and needed things for our family that we have done without for a long time.
Things like a working riding lawn mower, food, doctors bills, cleaning products, clothing, and other small items we need as a family. No we do not have food stamps. We are about $12 over the limit. So because of $12 we are left out of the $200+ in food stamps we need. We live on whats left after bills and bankrupsy which is not much and definitely not enough.
If anyone needs to know of something just ask and we wil lanswer if we can. I will update this GFM and add pics as needed or asked for.
