This fundraiser is for the family of Kaylene Crewe.
Kaylene has Nephrotic Syndrone and her kidneys are not filtering out the necessary proteins her body needs. Kaylene (who calls my wife and I "Auntie and Uncle" :-)
has been in and out of the hospitals since she was 6.
We have known her parents Wayne and Michelle for several years and are doing everything we can to assist them with their medical needs, incurred debts and living expenses. They live in South Africa and both parents work hard to make a living. However, I know that their income does not begin to cover anything other than basic needs. Medical expenses and other circumstances have drained what little savings they had.
We had a GFM account last year but closed it when we believed Kaylene appeared to be making progress. She has had a couple of relapses since then and the need is back. Funds are needed now! Some of you have helped in the past, I ask you to help again if you can, and prayers are ALWAYS welcome.

Just so there is no confusion, Vernon is my 1st name, but I go by Kirk. I am a 100% disabled veteran who has been blessed with the ability to help others now and then. I am a freemason and strong supporter of our military, police, firefighters, EMT's and first responders. Please help me to help them.
