Family recovering from a near fatal accident

On September 21, 2019, the entire Leclair family from Marion, NY was involved in a very serious motorcycle accident on Rt. 21 near Cohocton. Both bikes were completely destroyed. The 21-year-old son, Nathan was Mercy Flighted to Strong with multiple injuries including a brain bleed, a shattered knee cap, a broken tibia which had to be reinforced with a rod, a collapsed lung, broken teeth, a cracked rib, and upper neck vertebrates. After an operation to put a rod in his leg and repair his kneecap, Nathan remained unconscious for seven days. He remained in Strong for three weeks finally coming home on 10/14 where he now gets multiple therapists coming to the home for further treatments including speech therapy. He cannot walk without the use of a walker nor be exposed to multiple stimuli such as video games and minimal television because it overwhelms his brain which now has some dead areas related to the trauma and brain bleed. He also has to wear an upper body and neck brace.
The father Gary also was taken to Strong with a broken ankle and back injuries. Gary has now been told his ankle will have to be reset with an operation that will put him out of work for 10 more weeks after this operation which has not been scheduled yet. He also is wearing a back brace and has to use crutches and a wheelchair to mobilize. Denise the wife has bruises, her leg and ankle completely swollen to this date with pain and decreased mobility.
The entire family has not been able to work since the date of the accident and the bills keep piling up! In NYS motorcycle accidents do not have personal injury insurance coverage. The family does have medical insurance which pays only 80% of bills and who knows what that Mercy Flight cost! All have a long road to recovery with Denise remaining out of work to care for her son and husband. It is going to be months before anyone can work again.
The family would like to thank God, family, and friends for the prayers and the amazing amount of support they have received, but they cannot do it all. They would not have survived without you. They also want to thank the first responders, doctors, and nurses at Strong that literally saved Nathan's life.
As their good friend, I am scared for this family and what they still face and am reaching out to the community for any help anyone can spare no matter how small.
