Family Devastated by Toxic Mold

Imagine how you would feel if you learned you needed to leave your home immediately. If you had to leave behind your furniture, your clothing, everything you own. If you had to tell your children they, too, would have to leave behind everything they cherish. And that you can’t tell them what will happen next – because you have no idea.  And all of this happening 25 days before Christmas.

My dear friends are facing this uncertain future right now.

Always There for Others
The Abood family has made a remarkable difference in so many of our lives. They’ve made themselves available to others through ministry, mentoring, community service, and have always had room for one more at their table. Even their children have learned to lead by serving others.

Now they are the ones in need. Over the past 4 years they’ve each dealt with health issues that were deemed “non-diagnosable”. After exhaustive testing, they’ve finally learned the cause: their home is infested with toxic mold. Everything they own has been permeated and must be left behind. This includes their vehicles.

Always Grateful
Grateful they’ve finally learned the cause of their issues, they continue to be examples to all of us by remaining positive, focused, and caring toward others even though they face so much uncertainty.

Their needs are great, and they’re unable to accept used items because of their health issues. I’ve started this account for them because I believe we can all participate in helping them as they face starting from scratch. As we celebrate this season of giving and the birth of Jesus Christ, please consider helping them. Any donation amount will be helpful to them.
