Falmouth-Greely Girls Locker Rooms

Donation protected
Help us give these girls high school hockey teams
a home of their own.
On the ice, the Falmouth and Greely High School ice hockey teams are fierce competitors. But the two longtime rivals have come together to raise money for a common cause: dedicated girls locker rooms at the rink the two programs call home.

Addressing a gender equity issue
This unusual collaboration is an effort to bring gender equity with the schools' respective boys hockey teams, which have enjoyed dedicated locker room at Family Ice Center (FIC) in Falmouth, Maine since it was built in 1999.

A viable project serving three non-profit entities
The programs aim to build a 1,000 sq ft addition to non-profit Family Ice Center that will house a locker room for each of the two girls hockey teams, along with shower facilities and off-season storage. It enjoys support from the town of Falmouth and the facility itself to enhance its off-season revenue by adding capacity for summer hockey schools that use the rink.

The estimated cost is $231,000, toward which  the two programs have raised approximately $90,000 to date.

ALL DONATIONS ARE TAX DEDUCTIBLE. Your gift will help us get there!
