Falkland Veterans and Families

As the Royal Marines Forces Sweetheart of Swansea, I have been invited to travel to The Falklands to perform for the soldiers and their families September this year. 2017 is the 35 year anniversary of The Falklands War which makes my trip even more special to the people of the island.
During my stay there, they would like me to make a few performances, one being at MPA and one in Stanley for the soldiers and their families of approximatley 3000 troops and equal amount of civilians and also visit the only school on the island of 600 children. I will also be visiting the Royal Marines Memorial in Stanley amongst many others.
Our wish is to take a serving veteran and former servicemen with us to revisit the island! We would also like to document the trip to show all of my performances and to talk to the veterans and their families about their life in the Falklands.
I will be staying at The Liberty Lodge which is run by SAMA (South Atlantic Medals Association) that work solely on a donations basis, thanks to SAMA's work families of servicemen and women are able to visit the island.
With your help we would like to raise enough funds to take Veterans with us, document the trip as well as donating to The Liberty Lodge!
This is our small way of thanking our troops for helping to keep us safe everyday!
I have set an initially target of £1,000 but we hope with your help to achieve that and more.
