Hi everyone. It is with a heavy heart that I write Falcores story while he's in the vets care fighting to survive.
Falcore has a blockage that Progressed to life threatening in 24 hrs. Watching him suffer has been excruciating and we were at the vet first thing today where we got the news that his heartrate was very low and irregular (meaning anesthetic could kill him but it's also the only way to preform the other life saving things he needs)
We got a 1500+$ estimate and no possibility of a payment plan.
We are giving him a shot. He is a furry family member and he's fought so hard in such a short time just to live. I feel awful he suffered at all and just hope he makes it through all this care and healing we need.
Here is where this campaign comes in. I'm shuffling and doing all I can to cover upfront costs which is going to leave the rest of the herd, myself included, in a struggle.
Many of you know I run a small online business and I've been reaching out to any potential customers to place their orders now to help us out. This is still a great way to help Falcore and our family while getting sweet botanical/fungi keepsakes or art for yourself! Last month we went through bladder crystals with one of our other cats and it was a costly, yet not as progressed or serious case as this one. We are still recovering from those expenses as we get these new ones.
If you have fur babies then you know. You just know the heartbreak and immense helplessness you feel when they suffer. I wasn't ready to call quits on him just three years into his short life. He's a cooky snuggle bum and deserves kind folks to back him -even if it pains/ shames us to ask for him
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for even reading his story and taking a moment to sympathize with this ordeal we are facing. I do not even hope to cover half the expenses but any bit will help care for all of us as we shuffle to make Falcore a priority.
