UPDATE 4/25/19: Thank you so much for the outpouring of love we have received from friends and family near and far. We are truly humbled and so so thankful to have such a loving community supporting us and praying with us for faith. As is common with brain injuries, Faith has been recovering slowly. She is still in ICU, but she was removed from the medically-induced coma and has been showing signs of occasional alertness. We praise God for the healing that has been happening and how far she is coming along. The road of recovery is long, but we will continue to post updates as they come.

Our dear Faith was brutally attacked as she was walking to her home in Banana, a small town in Kiambu County, Kenya on Monday 3/25. She sustained severe head trauma which resulted in a broken skull, brain swelling and substantial loss of blood. Thankfully other commuters found her and she was eventually taken to the hospital. Since that evening she has undergone successful surgery and blood transfusions, however, she remains under heavy sedation as her brain continues to slowly heal. We are shocked by the viciousness of this crime and are leaning on God for comfort and provision.
As friends and family, we are coming together and asking for your support during the most unexpected and challenging moment of her life. These funds will specifically go to paying her current medical bills and medical care she will need during the recovery process, which could take months. We would be grateful for any amount of donations but more importantly, we ask if you would stand with us in prayer. We trust and believe that God will restore Faith to full health, and it is only a matter of time before we see that glowing smile on her face again!
