Fairchild Family Adoption

We are currently a family of six. Dad Bryan, Mom Gina, Grace 13, Madeline 11, Elizabeth 9 and Solomon 7. We fully believed our family was complete, however the Lord had other plans. While on a mission trip to Nicaragua God put International Adoption on Bryans heart! Not only do we feel He is calling us to adopt in Nicaragua, but we feel He is calling us to adopt some children who might not otherwise be adopted. The Lord has opened our heart up to sibling groups of up to three children and he has opened us up to the posibility that those children might be older and close to aging out of the orphanage.
International Adoption is very expensive! We were dismayed at the cost until we saw a break down of where that money goes, and now we understand that every penny is accounted for and needed. Nicaragua is especially costly because in addition to the large adoption expense we will be required to live in their country for 2-4 months as a family. We are blessed that we homeschool and Bryan will be able to take a leave from his job as a Firefighter so that we can bond as a family. We feel this time will be a huge blessing to our family but it will cost a lot of money none the less.

It is very hard for us to ask for financial help, but friends have helped us realize that not everyone is called to adopt, but everyone is equiped to support adoptive families in some way and that is where you come in!
