Fair Family House Fire

In the late-night hours of December 30, 2016, the home of Al & Pam Fair and their children were caught in the path of a 300-acre wildfire in McLoud, OK.  The family noticed an orange glow by their driveway and quickly grabbed the children, pets and the clothes on their backs and fled their home.  Within minutes their home and all its contents, including children’s school supplies, Christmas presents, family photos, etc. were gone. 

The Fair family has renter’s insurance but won’t know until Tuesday what may be covered.  They have some immediate needs of housing, clothes for the whole family, food, school supplies for the kids who start back to school next week and of course the Christmas presents that were all lost in the fire.  Al works in the sporting goods industry (all his work-related equipment, samples, computers, etc. were lost) and Pam works full-time as a mother and has a work from home business (all her business supplies were lost as well).  Pam and Al are always there to assist others in need, such as times when their neighbors were hit by tornados, etc.  Now is the time for the rest of us to reach out and help the Fair family in their time of need.  No amount of money can replace the family treasures lost, but we can help alleviate some of the immediate stress and needs as they start to piece their lives back together.

Please give whatever you can and even if you can’t give, please share on all your social media accounts and with your email contacts.  Right now, donations of clothing and household items won’t work because they have no place to store them.  Money and gift cards will meet the most immediate of needs.
