Tayler's Recovery Fund

For those of you who don't know, this is Tayler. She was hit by a wrong-way driver on 495 Thanksgiving morning and was seriously injured as a result.
She was taken from the scene of the accident by ambulance to Rhode Island Hospital, where she had to have surgery to place pins and metal plates to help her seriously broken ankle. She also has a fractured pelvis and severe bruising and cuts all over. 

Thankfully she's still here with us because it could have very easily gone much worse, but she is looking at a long recovery. 

At this time there's no word on when she'll be released from the hospital, and when she is she'll still be unable to walk under her own power. This means that she'll be forced to leave her job and apartment to recover back home on the Cape. It will be months before she'll be able to even start looking for a job again. 

Everyone who knows Tayler can tell you she is always one to help out others, whether it's a ride or just someone to talk to, she's one of the best friends you can ask for. She didn't deserve this.

Any and all money raised by this campaign will go directly to Tayler to help her cover medical and living costs that result from her injuries, as well as replacing the car that was totaled in the accident. Our goal is $10,000, but I would love to see us raise even more than that. It is the season of giving after all.

Nothing has ever been scarier than getting that message that it had been Tayler involved in a fatal accident I'd seen all day everywhere on the news. She deserves only the best in my eyes, and I know there are many out there who want to help like me.)
