Save Arnie

Some of you may have heard that on Thursday our beloved Arnie was diagnosed with cancer. Three masses were found by an ultrasound in both his intestines and liver. His case is really rare and unfortunately inoperable. He is losing protein which is causing liquid to sit in his chest and lungs which has made breathing difficult for him. If his protein drops lower he will need a blood transfusion immediately. Arnie has been in intensive care since Friday and will continue to be hospitalised until Tuesday when we can see the oncologist at the animal cancer clinic for chemo therapy. This has obviously been really distressing on Dean and the total bill so far has exceeded $7000. The treatment moving forward is going to be very expensive (between 10-15k) but we want to do everything we can to save Arnie’s life. Arnie is one of the best dogs I’ve ever known and a friend to us all. I wanted to reach out and ask if anyone would like to donate towards Arnie’s cancer treatment on Tuesday. Any money at all that you can spare would be so appreciated. I know he’s a fighter and he can beat this.
