Support Bella Hung

Donation protected
Bella Hung is just 10 years old and is fighting for her life. Bella was diagnosed with the most common and curable childhood cancer, acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL), at the age of 8 years old on 11/27/2013. She was 14 months into treatment when she was finally able to return to school. 3 months later, she relapsed and had to begin a very heavy chemotherapy treatment.

Bella and her family were given hope when she was able to participate in a trial treatment called CAR-T cell therapy. She was admitted to Seattle Children's Hospital for 2 months an was sent home with her cancer in remission. The treatment worked! Again, Bella and her family's hopes were high as she was given an opportunity for survival. At this time the family learned that Bella had 1 perfect bone marrow match, a young female from Bejing who had agreed to be Bella's donor.

Just weeks before the scheduled transplant. 11/13/2015, her family got the devistating news that Bella's cancer had returned and thus, a transplant not possible. Bella had to return yet again to the hospital for another trial treatment of an extremely aggressive chemotherapy. Her family recently got the news that it did not work and cancer remains in Bella's little body. There is one more trial treatment that will be tried. We pray that this will be the one. She is currently in Santa Clara Hospital.

All donations will help pay for out of pocket expenses, allow Bella's mom to take time off work and support Bella's assembling efforts with 'Bella's Bags' which are care packages distributed to children at Santa Clara Hospital.
