Hello!
My name is Precious and I am in need of rent to prevent eviction. The rent for my apartment is currently 16 days overdue with rent arrears being added on every week. I've been in this position before but have been able to get out of it due to family help.
The last time this happened, I was threatened with eviction but luckily, it didn't go through at the time. But now I'm in trouble because I'm broke and also taking care of my older brother who is autistic and has learning disabilities. I cannot afford to have this home taken from us now because it would leave us stranded and on the streets. The family support that I used to go no longer exists due to the extremely rocky relationship between my dad and I. My mum cannot help due to not having any money herself so we're all stuck.
The letting agent ran me to alert that if two months worth of rent isn't paid then the eviction notice will go out and it will not be stopped this time. I don't have the money to find us a new home and this is honestly all we have. If I was by myself then it would have been easier but I have my brother here with me and life is already hard enough as it is.
The money will go towards paying two months worth of rent so we can at least avoid being evicted and keep our home while we sort stuff out so we don't end up in this situation again.
It would mean so much to me if you can donate any little that you can. Ideally, I would need up to £1500 by the need of next week so I can pay off the first half and keep the calm between myself and the landlord.
