Johnny Newburgh

Johnny Newburgh is for my father. If you had the pleasure of knowing my father you would know that he loved life. Truly loved life. He loved his friends, his family, God knows he loved Bob Dylan. But maybe what you don't know is what it was like to have him as a father. He was a good man. For the 28 years that I had him he was everything to me. He spent those 28 years telling me: Jen, you can do anything you put your mind to. That's incredibly powerful. This year, I've decided to put my mind to running the NYC marathon. And I am going to take every dollar that I raise and give it to a city that he loved, Newburgh. Every dollar raised on this site will go to Habitat for Humanity of Greater Newburgh. This my way of honoring him. I ask you to make a donation. The amount doesn't matter. I ask you to do this for me. For my father. For the love between a father and a child. Do it for you.
