Fred's Fight
Anyone that knows my sister Meg, knows the boundless love she has for her fur babies, Fred and Saki. Yesterday Fred and Saki were in a horrific incident. While my mom and sister were watching the pups play in their doggie pool in the driveway, the dogs saw their neighbor walking in the woods and ran over to him. He shot them in a matter of seconds. Saki, once in the neck and Fred 3x in the chest, stomach and leg.
Miraculously, Fred has made it through the night. He’s slowly improving, yet still has a ways to go. He’s currently on his way to Greenville SC to their sister specialist vet to operate. One of the bullets went through his chest and out his stomach and that is the major hurdle. Then they can focus on the other bullet wounds. The vets have given Dan & Meg hope that he is fighting hard. I’m sure he feels all his cheerleaders, good vibes, prayers and endless love coming through for him.
Lil Saki is doing good. She is very lucky hers wasn’t a centimeter up or down or she wouldn’t be here. She's getting lots of snuggles from Meg and my mom and dad.
Everyone has been asking how to help. The love and support have been incredible. Our family and friends have set this go fund me for Dan & Meg to help in any way towards saving Fred and Saki's recovery.
