Zyan's Yale Summer Camp

For those of you that don’t know me. I am a junior at The McCallie School, and a graduate from the Ron Clark Academy, and I have recently been accepted by the Yale Young Global Scholars Program to attend a summer program for outstanding high school students. For me, this program is the opportunity of a lifetime. I am confident that this program will help me explore this academic interest and help me prepare for college. Students from all over the world attend this highly competitive program. I know that I would gain a great deal from both my studies and interactions with my peers. I am so grateful for the opportunity to participate in this life-changing experience. The focus of the program is International Relations and Affairs which has been a passion for me since I first joined Model United Nations in fifth grade. This interest has followed me all throughout my education career so far. I have maintained a grade point average of 4.27 and have been highly involved in Student Council, Future Business Leaders of America, Model United Nations, Debate, Vestry Religious Organization, Senate, and so much more. All of these clubs are nothing compared to the lessons and experiences that I can gain from this camp.
