Monica's Medical Fund

This summer, Monica Steffens (Jarvis) was diagnosed with stage IV Ovarian cancer.  She has been receiving chemo treatments to treat the cancer.  Monica has been stuggling due to a bowl obstruction caused by the chemo and the cancer.  Monica is out of work.  Ray has done an excellent job of taking care of Monica, but it is a struggle.  Their insurance does not allow Monica to visit a cancer center to receive a second opionion.  They have been denied options to seek treatment outside of their California medical group.  The current treatment has left her unable to eat without an IV feeding system.  Monica and Ray need funds to stay afloat.  They also want to have enough money to go to a cancer center to seek a second opinion for a treatment option that might give her more hope.  Please keep praying as well.  Monica is a graduate of Highland High School class of 1994.  You can follow Monica's progress on Facebook by asking to join the group Monica's Journey.  That is also a great place to let her know you are rounting for her as she fights ovarian cancer.
