In 2012, I got an amazing opportunity to sign with XL Records and tour the U.S. and Europe. People all over the world would have the chance to see me perform and hear my music.
For a short time, it seemed to work publicly. I was getting quality press and touring regularly. I even got a few endorsements. Unfortunately, I became creatively depleted, restless, anxious, depressed and began to struggle with Alcoholism. Eventually, I sought to move from New York to Washington State with my wife at the time to quiet down and experience a more peaceful life.
I became so inspired by the woods and natural environment of Tacoma, Lacey and Olympia that I began recording again.
The result was a record that was a complete departure from the chaotic sounds I'd done before. The music was serene. This was what I wanted to express and release. I felt that I'd sent the wrong message to people and I was ready to reinvent myself as a "Cosmic Crooner".
Unfortunately, XL Records did not see it my way and I had to exit my deal at the company in order to release it independently. Except for a stint in 2015 with Tender Loving Empire who released my record 'Noctunes',

I've been independent ever since. Since then, my wife and I have separated.
I've released at least five full albums as an independent artist and have continued to periodically travel to perform at sporadic festivals and one off shows. Despite having a percievable "success"and online status,
Despite some of my songs having been in film and television, I am currently without the finances to even release music or support myself.
After receiving a lump sum payment for a State Farm commercial about 2 years ago;I put out an 18 track epic album box set called 'Turn, Circle, Sun & Moon'
that included a t-shirt, a 7 inch record, a music cassette Tape and a book of Poetry.

The collection was an uplifting set of original art that my supporters seemed to really appreciate.
This year, due to lack of funds, legal trouble,car trouble, no consistent shows, I had to resort to releasing my record on Bandcamp and return to singing on the street.
After being out of the job market so long, I have found that I am out of touch and I can't even get a job as a dishwasher. My brand (which is my music) has become my only hope and my only passion.

"ALMS" is a collection of mid-fidelity Ambient Pop Love Songs that are also prayers to the Universe.
"ALMS" has two meanings. First, it is an acronym for the full name of my Girlfriend. Second, it means "offerings"...which is convenient for my purposes.
These songs were created primarily to honor my girlfriend and her dedication to me for the last three years but also to express my absolute intention to the Universe.
I want to raise about 5000 dollars to release new physical copies (vinyl and CD) of my latest music and continue to inspire people as I believe I have done over the years.
