Cannes Film Festival Internship

Greetings Earthlings,
I am Janeen Talbott, a graduate film school student from sunny south Florida.
Today, December 21, 2016, I received word that I was awarded an internship via the Creative Minds Group 2017 Cannes Film Festival Program. Not only did I get accepted, but I was also received a small scholarship.
While I was incredibly elated and grateful, I became fretful when I realized that the amount I was awarded wasn't enough to offset most of the cost of the program.
With the amount of the scholarship applied to the cost of attending, I would still owe over four times the amount for airfare, hotel accomodations, press passes, entry into events and the like.
The first half of the deposit is due on the 14th of January and, as I stand on the precipice of 2016 just waiting to dive in 2017, I am met with the burning desire to participate in something I worked really hard to achieve and the fear of not being able to meet the financial requirements of the program while costs related to other school related obligations such as my thesis film loom in the distance.
While I am usually adamant about finding or making a way alone, I understand that the challenge may just be a bit too great for me to achieve by myself. In that vein, I humbly ask that you thoughtfully consider donating to this cause.
I would be grateful for any amount you are willing to give. It would afford me the opportunity to build upon my professional foundation, see a part of the world I've yet to lay eyes on and empower myself so that I may empower others.
