My name is Piyush and I was born and brought up in New delhi , India . I have been accepted into a Business Administration - Marketing program in Niagara college which is located near Niagara falls in Canada . I have been trying hard to get into a college in canada but due to the financial hardships exacerbated by the economic conditions in India triggered by the pandemic my ability to get into my undergraduate program is at risk . I need your donations urgently so that I can start my journey towards my Canadian dream .
I graduated from my high school in 2016 . The months around graduation were confusing and like most students, I was unsure about my ambitions . I wanted to study something I liked but I was unable to continue my studies due to the financial conditions of my family so I decided to join a one year diploma course in Tourism and started working somewhere that could fit a world into a room . I joined a backpacking hostel where I met people from across the continents bonding over parties, excursions and evening get-togethers , inviting me to their own countries , offering to show me around . During this entire time I got motivated by people to get out and study in different countries offering world class education .
While checking out the different programs in these countries I realised that theirs was more diverse both in curriculum and exposure which I found was more suitable for my interests. So I came up with the decision of studying Business Administration - Marketing in Niagara college . Since the college is in close proximity to Niagara falls, which is a global tourism destination, it would serve as a great advantage to explore the tourism and marketing industry along with my studies .
Due to the sad demise of my father one and a half years back the financial condition of my family deteriorated . Since then I have not had a working family member as just like most Indian families my mother is a housewife which makes me ineligible for any kind study loans. During these tough times , education has become a financial challenge which is why I am reaching out to you. Tuition and fees for first two semesters: $16,486 CAD ($17,492AUD)
GIC (Guaranteed Investment certificate ): $10,000 CAD ($10,610AUD)
GIC is a type of investment instrument required for international students in Canada to pay their living expenses .
The difference amount for the for the tuition and living expenses for the next two years , I will try to cover by working part time in Canada .
