Katie’s Cancer journey

Hello

My name is Emily (Katie) Mcneely I am 29 years old I was diagnosed with a very rare cancer Advelar soft part sarcoma in 2014. I have 45% of the right side of my tongue removed and rebuilt via skin graft with my left arm. This cancer usually spreads to your brain or lungs and unfortunately it has spread to both for me, back in my mouth and spots on heart. I have had multiple surgeries brain being one of them. I am currently on immunotherapy every 6 weeks. ALL my doctors, scans and treatment are in Nashville,TN I am from WV. This cancer has completely ruined my teeth and I am very embarrassed of my smile. I do not have dental insurance and I now need an oral surgeon but as you can imagine this is very expensive. I have an oral surgeon at Vanderbilt willing to do the work but he needs a large payment. Once I heal from this I will also have to have one more dental procedure that will need to be done.I’m asking anyone that can help me get my smile back to please donate. I would be forever thankful.
