My beautiful, talented, kind, sweet daughter, Susan Barrett (pictured  with her 2 sons) has been a CVS pharmacist for over 20 years, a career she loves as she is able to help so many others. During that time she has trained many new pharmacists and helped countless patients. A life-long resident of Brookline, she is a well-respected parent, neighbor , friend and pharmacist to many residents of the towm. Now she is suffering with stage 4 ovarian cancer. She was diagnosed in March and had extensive surgery in April; she is now receiving weekly chemotherapy and will be out of work for about 6 more months.She is on long term disability and has huge co-payments for her treatment at Dana-Farber Hospital.  She is in her 3rd month of being out of work and is facing at least 4-6 more months of treatment. The bills are piling up as she only receives 60% of her pay and has more than 100% of her previous bills. Some medications are not covered.
Please help her meet her obligations? If you know Susan, you know that she goes out of her way to help everyone else. It is her turn now. Any contributions will help. My family and I thank you for any support you can give her.
