About:
In the modern era where Asian foods have revolutionized in the eyes of America from smelly worms to hipster, trendy food, Arigato Grande, MilkTea Cyrus, and Lana Del Rice have had enough of appropriation of their culture for sheer profit. Following the successful Asian American foodie anthem of 7 Meats, Arigato Grande faced controversy over the lyrics, “I see these white girls they want to attend, think we might’ve just started a trend”, as white people everywhere were unsure whether they were being shaded or invited to the table.
Arigato Grande and her posse plan on tackling that question with unrelenting, unapologetic bad bossery. Both, we say, as those outside the culture can sit at the table to enjoy our culture, understand it, but don’t disrespect it. In, Don’t Call It Asian, we plan on teaching a hipster restaurant owner that very lesson.
