Chelsea's Medical Fund

This page has been started to help Chelsea Brooker and her family with Medical costs incurred with her Cancer Treatment.
I have been asked to explain this cause in more detail, so here goes... Chelsea is 33 and mother to 2 amazing boys(ages 5 and 12). On the 21st of May 2015 she was given the news that her Gallbladder(just removed) was Cancerous. Not long after she underwent surgery to have 75% of her liver removed due to Cancer. In 2016, after treatment she was told she was Cancer free. Unfortunately later 2016(closer to christmas) Chelsea found out the Cancer was back and had spread to her right lung. More operations resulted and she is currently undergoing Immunotherapy and has just started Chemo. I can not at this time confirm the costs, but before treatment started Immunotherapy was quoted at around $20k a month. I do know that the pain meds, extra hospital bills, testing etc don't take long to add up...

Chelsea's family have remained a close knit unit throughout this tough journey. Her Mum has been caring full time for Chelsea. Darren(husband) has been continuing to travel between Perth and Kambalda, but I believe is now needed to remain in Perth.
There is so much more to her story, but I'm unsure how to put it in words... As a friend, Chelsea is amazing. To watch how she has managed this is truely inspiring. Prior to her diagnosis Chelsea embraced our Community, and was always willing to help anyone out. I would love nothing more than to make this extremelly tough time a bit easier for them xxxx
