Helping a friend

Cody's son, Ryan, had an accident in which boiling boiling water spilled on his torso down to his legs.  He was rushed to UC Davis burn center and then transferred to Schriner's.  The doctor originally thought he was doing very well and would be able to go home this week.  When the doctor checked his burns it turned out they had progressed from 2nd degree to 3rd degree.  Ryan is now having to undergo surgery and skin grafting.  He is having to stay in the hospital for at least another month.  His parents have been and will continue to go back and forth to and from the hospital his entire stay.  They will both be off of work during this time.  I want to help them out as much as possible by taking away some of their stresses by getting them gas cards as well as cards for food.  Getting take out has been and will have to continue to be their main way of getting food and that gets very expensive.
