Dave & Josie are zooming off to Zimbabwe to support Bridge to Bezi.
Bridge to Bezi is an annual cycling event to raise awareness of Zimbabwe's orphan crisis as well as to raise funds for The Michael Project, an organisation working in Zimbabwe with vulnerable children.
Bridge to Bezi is an annual cycling event to raise awareness of Zimbabwe's orphan crisis as well as to raise funds for The Michael Project, an organisation working in Zimbabwe with vulnerable children.
The cyclists will ride 500 miles in 5 days across Zimbabwe ending at Victoria Falls, to raise $50,000 for much-needed school fees for the 25 orphans in The Michael Project's children's home.
The event is from 8-12 August and Dave (a trustee of The Michael Project) and Josie, his daughter, will be part of the support crew, as well as producing daily videos for social media.
To prepare them for the challenge and help cover the costs of the trip, Dave and Josie will be cycling 50 miles along the Essex coastline in mid July. This will be a huge physical test for them both, so please give generously towards this cause. Thank you. Any additional funds raised will be donated to the Bridge to Bezi appeal.
