Zogg Fire Destroyed Everything We Own. PLEASE HELP
The Zogg Fire recently swept through Ono and Igo burning dozens of homes and structures including the historic Ono Store.
The residents have lost everything, including the means to support themselves.
We are Ashley Griggs and Glenn Rabb. We lived at the residence that is part of the Ono Store and Cafe. Lennie Copeland, owner of the store, is Ashley’s mother. We are all devastated by our loss. Several lifetimes worth of photos, journals, artwork, and antiques are gone forever. We are left with only the clothes on our backs.
When the fire arrived, wind speeds were high and whipped up a firestorm on all sides of the building. Neighboring houses were already ablaze. There was no time to grab anything, only time to escape alive. Meow the cat did not survive.
One of the hardest aspects to recover from will be the loss of our means of self support. Glenn’s glass blowing studio equipment and supplies are all destroyed. Part of this fund will assist in the setup of a replacement art glass studio.
Won’t you please help us begin the next chapter in our lives.
All donations go to assist in the recovery of Zogg Fire victims who lived at the Ono Store and Cafe. Funds will be used to secure housing, buy clothes, and attempt to begin again from scratch.
Thank You
from Ashley Griggs and Glenn Rabb.
