In Memoriam - Zoey Zinsky

Zoey Zinsky, a vibrant young girl, was tragically lost to her family in a car accident on November 30, 2014, two days after turning seven. On the way to visit friends during the holiday weekend, the family car lost traction on an isolated road in Mojave, and left the roadway, rolling over multiple times, leaving Zoey with grievous injuries. Her father immediately attended to her needs, providing basic life saving measures until the California Highway Patrol arrived. A Life Flight was arranged to Antelope Valley Hospital, taking every extra measure to mend her wounds, but her life could not be saved.
Zoey's family was all together on this final trip, and she is survived by her mother, her father, and her two brothers. Her father and brothers escaped the crash unscathed, while her mother, the driver, suffered numerous broken ribs and pneumothorax.
Zoey was a bright and playful child - curious, talkative, creative, joyful. She delighted in martial arts, the wonders of nature, the company of her family, and of course, her dogs. Her loss was immediately present, and the hole left in the hearts of those who loved her will not soon be filled.
We, her extended family, are seeking donations from our friends, our coworkers, and the generous public, to help defray the rapidly accruing medical bills and funerary costs that such a tragedy brings. With the loss not only of a beloved daughter, granddaughter and niece, but also a the ability to work while injuries are healed, the financial impact of this heartbreaking accident is quickly becoming monumental. We are asking for any you can spare to help cover these costs as this family begins to adjust to life without their daughter, and your charity will be well-placed to help ease the pain of such a calamity.
