Rewrite of our feature film script
Donation protected
The day after Thanksgiving, November 28, 2003, three unarmed family members were shot by a constable in Jamestown, South Carolina. Their names are LaToya Williams age 24, Melissa Nixon age 15, and Lorenzo Taylor age 19. This constable was found guilty of the crime, but only received a four-year sentence of which he only served 18 months. This family’s tale needs to be told, and with your help, we will bring the story of their life—and tragic deaths—to the screen. LaToya and Melissa died on the same day of their injuries. Lorenzo Taylor survived a shotgun blast to his face at close range. He made a miraculous recovery and is doing well.
The money we raise will be used to fund a rewrite of the current script, which will require 4-5 months to complete. We welcome all pledges. No amount is too small.
